A Spelunker is typically someone who makes a hobby out of exploring caves. The term derives from a Greek expression “of getting to the bottom of things”. Part of the excitement is not knowing what you're going to find. Which leads me to the question. What is more important, the exploration experience, or finding that specific something? Sometimes we find something that we're not looking for and it may be incredible. After all, entering the dark is only scary because it is the unknown.
